Workshop Session at GECon 2024: Challenge based learning and collaborative teaching for an interdisciplinary and interactive learning environment

This workshop will focus on teaching activities that foster interdisciplinary teamwork experiences. We will talk about the advantages and lessons learned in interdisciplinary courses taught at the School of Engineering and Design, Technical University of Munich in collaboration with other universities. The role of learning platforms and asynchronous teaching (towards new learning), as well as the integration of open-source computational simulation tools and their development will be presented as key parts of a functional and successful learning environment. Challenge based learning will be presented for two exemplary course layouts, their projects and alternative examinations. Apart from the presentation, there will be room for sharing experiences as well as exchanging and developing ideas and strategies for future teaching formats.                                                               Further information please visit https://www.gecon2024.org/

2024 TUM Blockchain Conference

We are delighted to announce the Call for Extended Abstracts for the academic track at the 2024 TUM Blockchain Conference. The academic track is hosted in collaboration with the TUM Chair of Network Architectures and Services. We are happy to have IEEE Blockchain as a Knowledge partner inviting selected works for a submission to IEEE Blockchain Technical Briefs. In addition, the selected abstracts will be offered to present their work in form of a short talk and/or a poster presentation. This event invites researchers, academics, and industry professionals to connect and present their latest work in the topics related to the Science of Blockchains. Accepted talks will be showcased through a short presentation at the conference and displayed as posters in the conference area.
