IEEE is organized into 347 sections within ten geographic regions worldwide and is supported by 2,815 chapters that connect members with similar technical interests. Academic involvement is further strengthened by 3,613 student branches and 4,240 student branch chapters at universities in over 100 countries. IEEE comprises 39 technical societies and eight technical councils covering a wide range of technical disciplines. The organization operates the IEEE Xplore digital library, which contains more than six million documents. IEEE also plays a leading role in global standardization with an active portfolio of 1,079 standards and over 1,093 projects in development. In addition, IEEE publishes around 250 transactions, journals, and magazines. IEEE also sponsors more than 2,000 conferences and events in 109 countries. Since 1936, these conferences have contributed over 4.5 million technical papers to IEEE Xplore. More than 280,000 new conference papers are added annually, underscoring IEEE’s continued importance to global technological advancement. IEEE Germany comprises 24 active chapters, the 8 Student Chapter, and Women in Engineering and Young Professional interest groups.

Who is eligible?
1. Engineer, scientist, technical manager in IEEE field
2. At least 10 years of professional experience (including years of university education),
3. At least 5 years of experience in IEEE fields
How to prepare your application?
1. Prepare a detailed resume.
2. Contact the section’s membership development manager to obtain reviewer from the section, if possible.
3. Identify three Senior Member reviewer or two Fellow reviewer.
4. If you have obtained reviewer from the section, two Senior Member or Fellow sponsors are sufficient.
5. Send your resume to your reviewer.
6. Complete the online application and inform your reviewer. Don’t forget to ask them for their IEEE numbers.
7. The sponsors will be contacted by IEEE to submit their reports online.
