German Public Radio program on history of computer programming

It is the IEEE History Center’s very great pleasure to let you know that German Public Radio will be broadcasting a program on the history of programming this Friday, 19 May. This program drew on IEEE History Center resources, especially oral histories, and will emphasize the contributions made by women programmers, thus enhancing IEEE’s diversity and inclusion efforts.

The radio program on the history of programming will be aired on Friday the 19th of May, at 6:05 pm (UTC). At that time you will be able to find it here: https://www.deutschlandfunk.de. At the right side there is blue button reading “live”. Please click it in order to listen to live radio.

After the 19th of May the program will be online: https://www.hoerspielundfeature.de/feature-lisa-der-nerd-100.html There will be a purple “play-button” at the right side of the the image of Margaret Hamilton. By clicking it, you can listen to the program whenever it suits you.
