IEEE Geoscience & Remote Sensing Society German Chapter provides a platform for scientists who deal with the theory, concepts and techniques of science and engineering as they apply to the remote sensing of the earth, oceans, atmosphere, and space, to do networking and participate in technical activities. With this in mind, we support and organize events in Germany such as conferences, workshops, social events and seminar series to meet the professional and technical needs of our members. The Geoscience & Remote Sensing Society German Chapter, established in 2006, comprises currently more than 150 members throughout Germany.
